Reflection on Discussion

I feel that the discussion on Health Care Reform went very well, we talked about alot of important issues that are going on today with schools and education. Almost everyone in the room voiced their opinion except for a few students. This was most likely the best discussion we have had all year. We talked about how private schools are harder on the students than public schools and the teachers are not on contract, so they can be fired at any given time, so they try harder to do their job. Maybe if there were no contracts then teachers will try harder? because i have had a teacher my junior year that just sat on his computer everyday and gave us busy work and probably just planned stuff for his Basketball team, and that was my experience with a horrible teacher. There are alot of issues we need to solve with our education, and it is going to definately take some time.
